Created in 2010, the Cercle des Chercheurs sur le Moyen Orient (CCMO – Circle of Researchers on the Middle East) is a circle of reflection and action which brings together and promotes research by young specialist researchers in the Arab-Muslim world and encourages their interaction with senior researchers.

CCMO organizes an annual congress (at the Paris City Hall) and regular thematic workshops with the participation of PhD students and professors. It has created the Cahiers du CCMO, a collection published by Éditions du Cygne, which gives CCMO members an opportunity to contribute to valuablepublications. Its priority is to give young researchers the possibilityto publish their work and also encourages online publication of articles following validation by the Editorial Committee.
